Introduction

MySplitPay tracks the money that moves between an ISO (Independent Sales Organization), its account representatives, and the merchants (MIDs) they bring on. The ISO uploads the residual reports its processors send, MySplitPay calculates each rep’s commission from the split set on each MID, and every rep’s earnings and payouts are recorded on a ledger both sides can see.

Two diagrams explain most of the platform. The first shows the people: who manages whom.

One ISO, its reps, their merchants — and each merchant's processing accounts.

The second shows the money. Processor reports become commissions through each rep’s split on each MID, credits and deductions are added alongside, and every rep’s ledger balance is settled by payouts:

Commissions, credits, deductions — and the payout itself — are all transactions; the ledger is their running record.

The rest of these docs walk through each part of those two diagrams in detail. The glossary defines every term used along the way.

Merchants never log in to MySplitPay. Their ISO and account representative manage everything on their behalf.
