Uploading reports

Everything downstream in MySplitPay starts with your processor files. Upload each period’s residual and commission files, and the platform takes it from there — commissions are calculated, and any new MIDs and DBA names are created automatically.

  1. Open the Reports page and select Upload in the top-right corner.
  2. Drag your files into the panel, or browse for them. Both CSV and Excel (.xlsx) files are supported, and you can upload several files at once.
  3. Each file shows its own progress — read, matched, uploaded — so you can see exactly where a batch stands.

Every file is matched to one of your processors by its column layout. Once a layout is known, every future file in the same format is recognized automatically — drop it in and you’re done. Common industry formats (such as IRIS-style exports) are detected out of the box. The first time a layout isn’t recognized, MySplitPay asks you to map it once — see Custom report formats.

The new report appears in the Reports list with its processor, period, uploader, and a count of any warnings — rows MySplitPay flagged for attention. Open the report to review the warnings and the raw rows exactly as they were read from the file.

If a report shows Select processor… instead of a name, assign the right processor from the dropdown so its data is attributed correctly.

If a processor sends you a corrected file for a period you’ve already uploaded, upload it as normal. Where the same MID appears for the same period in more than one file, MySplitPay counts it once — the most recent upload’s row is the one that drives commissions — so corrected files don’t create duplicates.

To remove an uploaded report, use the delete action on its row in the Reports list and confirm.

Delete a report when it was uploaded by mistake or a processor reissues the period in full; if you just received corrected numbers, re-uploading the corrected file is usually all you need.
